Myocarditis signal was known in Feb 2021 but FDA and CDC hid it until they got the vaccine authorized for 12-15 year olds in May 2021. Here is the proof.

I was told that the VAERS contractor for CDC and FDA (Oracle had the contract) told the agencies there was a myocarditis adverse event signal in February 2021. This was 2 months after the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were authorized. (Myocarditis shows up within 4 days of the second shot over 80% of the time, so it is hard to miss the obvious vaccine connection.) This involved people reporting myocarditis to VAERS before there had been any publicity about the connection. I spoke about this on CHD’s Friday Roundtable program with James Lyons-Weiler on May 19. Someone just sent me a letter from the Israeli Ministry of Health to other nations’ drug regulators asking if they too were seeing a myocarditis signal in February 2021. Marco Cavaleri is a top regular at the European Medicines Agency who later warned about too many boosters.
By April 2021, the Israeli media were all over the story, and it was estimated in Israel that young men had a 25 times elevated risk of myocarditis after the shots. There was a little bit of press in the US also, but somehow the story never got legs.
The CDC and FDA and ? managed to keep the story under wraps, denying any vaccine problems at an advisory committee meeting. Because what did FDA do on May 10, 2021? It authorized the dangerous vaccine for adolescents who FDA knew were at high risk for myocarditis, carefully hiding that data, and failed to disclose it in the Fact Sheet (despite being required to do so in the 2005 Prep Act).
Having then pushed COVID vaccine clinics for kids in a major way, the agencies finally admitted there was a danger signal about 6 weeks later, on June 23, 2021 at the ACIP meeting. Here are the stunning data CDC revealed to its advisory committee.
I have found the talk by CDC’s Dr. Tom Shimabukuro here in which the following slide was presented at 1 hr 25 minutes. He begins his talk on myocarditis at 1 hr 17 minutes. The reason there are relatively few adolescents (but still over 2 million boys aged 12-17) is that the vaccine was only authorized for 12-15 year olds 32 days before the data cut-off. During those 32 days, the adolescents would have had to have had both shots (at least 3 weeks apart) AND developed symptoms of myocarditis and had a VAERS report filed and then placed into the system by a contractor, in order to qualify as a case after dose 2 in the chart below.
It is curious that CDC did not separate the 12-15 year olds from the 16-17 year olds who were authorized to received vaccine 6 months earlier (on December 11, 2020 for the Pfizer shot).

I think an adolescent who received the Pfizer or Moderna COVID vaccine in May or before June 23, 2021 and developed myocarditis would have a very interesting lawsuit.
Addendum. Reader Geoff Wexler just pointed out that Ralph Baric knew 31 years ago that in rabbits a coronavirus infection caused myocarditis.
