Doctors, Scientists And Lawyers Petition The WHO
On 23 May, doctors, scientists and lawyers from eighteen countries on five continents sent a request to the World Health Organisation (WHO). These professionals stress the absence of and need for a debate on vaccination against Covid-19, for all citizens, based on data and evidence. According to them, safety, effectiveness, proportionality and freedom are at stake. They question the international institution on the following three points:
– unscientific choices that run counter to the interests of citizens;
– problems of safety, conflicts of interest requiring investigations;
– the launch of a public debate.
